Chai Venue: Juhu Beach Club
WHERE IS THIS GOODNESS?: Oakland, California
Notes: With just a hint of sweetness, this Masala Chai was to-die-for.
Served a little hot, give it a second to cool down and embrace the bold spices.
Chai Venue: Double Tall Cafe
WHERE IS THIS GOODNESS?: Harajuku, Tokyo
Notes: Both the hot and iced options were a little too
sweet for me. The hot chai was deliciously milky and
the iced option was great for the heat. I drank both
chais while people-watching the fashionista’s of the
Harajuku District which was the coolest thing ever!
Chai Venue: Aloha-N-Paradise
WHERE IS THIS GOODNESS?: Waimea, Kaua’i
Notes: The coffee shop’s owner, Candy, is so very attentive to what
your preferences are. If you like it sweet, she’ll make it sweet. I like
my chai to be on the spicy side, and so it was! So ono (delicious)!
Chai Venue: Heartwork Coffee Bar
WHERE IS THIS GOODNESS?: San Diego, California
Notes: With just a tad of sweetness, this masala chai is a perfect blend of spices and foam. Two thumbs way, way up!
Chai Venue: The Wild Detectives
WHERE IS THIS GOODNESS?: Dallas, Texas
Notes: The spices are refreshing, but it’s a little on the sweet side.
The frothiness was delicious, though! Great on a cold day.
Chai venue: The Steeping Room
WHERE IS THIS GOODNESS?: Austin, Texas
Notes: Get the ‘Masala Chai.’ Hot or cold is good, though having it
hot contains more of the spice flavor. You can taste heaven
in this Chai.
